A Little About Me

H! My name is Lisa and I am a certified Professional Dog trainer using Positive science based reinforcement training, with over 9 yrs experience.  

I am the sole owner and trainer at Hills Canine Training.

 My training journey began in Maple Ridge BC along side my sister, best friend, and partner.  Together we opened Wenlys Pet Care Inc. Enjoying many years working together helping many pups and their Pawrents.

In 2020, I moved out to beautiful Yarrow BC and soon after opened Hills Canine Training Center.

I have had a love of animals from a very young age. It all started at 8 years of age,  receiving my first pet Teddy a long haired hamster. I spent many hours playing and training Teddy to do tricks and come when he was called. Enjoying all the fun things I could teach him.  I have been owned by many pets since then and have enjoyed each and every one. Currently owned by my beautiful 7yr old Lab Addy and 1yr old Border Collie / Australian Shepherd Maisy

Many years later after caring for our mom during her last year of life, my sister and I decided to chase our dream, as life is too short not to.  So off to school we went, and we've never looked back!
